There are so many photography opportunities and I have spent the last few years learning where and when to find a variety of species. Winter Willow Ptarmigan
Join me high in the Chugach Mountains to photograph winter Willow Ptarmigan. These stunning white upland game birds are a fun, challenging, and beautiful bird to photograph. I give you hands on tutoring and mentoring to get you the best photos possible. Snowshoes are required along with the ability to hike in a winter mountain setting (uphill through snow).

Pacific Loons
Join me as I take you out to get up-close and personal with a pair of beautiful Pacific Loons on a small private lake in Anchorage, Alaska. Get stunning water-level photos of these beautiful divers for your portfolio. Muck boots are a must as a short hike through a soggy marsh is required.

Alaska Alpine Critters
Join me as I take you up Hatcher’s Pass in the Talkeetna Mountains to photograph a variety of Sparrows, Arctic Ground Squirrels, Hoary Marmots, Collared Pikas, several species of Ptarmigan, Wandering Tattlers and more. This safari requires a good deal of hiking in higher elevations.
Privately guided trips available from early June till the end of August and usually last about 6 hours. Cost is $450

Alaskan Bull Moose
Join me as we set out to photograph world-class Alaskan Bull Moose. These large moose look great against the backdrop of autumn in the Chugach Mountains. This safari requires a good deal of hiking in higher elevations.

Red-necked Grebes
There is a short window during the late spring here in Alaska to photograph Red-necked Grebes with their cute little zebra-striped babies. There are several local lakes that have mating pairs of Grebes and I can help you maximize your efforts by getting you in the water and up close and personal with these amazing birds.
